Penggunaan Media Sosial dalam Pendidikan Islam: Manfaat dan Tantangan

Artikel ini mengulas penggunaan media sosial dalam pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review untuk menggali temuan sebelumnya terkait topik tersebut. Langkah-langkah literature review mencakup identifikasi kata kunci, seleksi literatur, ekstraksi dan sintesis data, serta penyusunan kesimpulan dan implikasi. Pemanfaatan media sosial secara efektif dalam pendidikan Islam melibatkan pemanfaatan berbagai platform untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran dan keterlibatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memberikan manfaat dalam meningkatkan visibilitas lembaga pendidikan, memfasilitasi penghafalan Al-Quran, meningkatkan religiusitas individu, serta menawarkan sarana dakwah yang cepat dan fleksibel. Namun, terdapat juga tantangan seperti potensi melemahkan nilai-nilai moral siswa, fenomena cyberbullying, dan kesulitan dalam menjaga fokus siswa dari aktivitas online yang kurang konstruktif. Dalam mengatasi tantangan ini, pendidik Islam perlu mengadopsi pendekatan holistik yang mencakup penguatan nilai-nilai moral, pengembangan lingkungan digital yang aman, dan bimbingan yang tepat dalam penggunaan media sosial. Dengan pemahaman yang mendalam dan tindakan yang tepat, media sosial dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam membentuk generasi muslim yang berkualitas dan beretika di era digital.
